The Bangsamoro, formally known as the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), was established to acknowledge the aspirations of the Bangsamoro people in Mindanao, affirming their right to preserve and enhance their heritage, which is reflective of their system of life as prescribed by their faith.

The region offers an impressive perspective into the rich cultural heritage of the original inhabitants of Mindanao and the Sulu archipelago.

In addition, the region abounds with historical and religious sites, natural wonders, and vibrant cultural festivals.

Key attractions include the Grand Mosque of Cotabato, the Sheik Karimol Makhdum Mosque, Lake Lanao, the Turtle Islands Wildlife Sanctuary, Bongao Peak, and the pristine, unspoilt beaches of Tawi-Tawi.

The region also offers opportunities to explore local culture through artisanal crafts and historical landmarks.
