Bluebeard's Castle is set on a secluded hilltop overlooking the harbor of St. Thomas and the historic town of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Popular beaches and world class shopping are only minutes from the resort and plenty of recreational activities are to be found in this island paradise.

Signature red rooftops and a centuries old fortress vie for attention against the lush tropical hillside, lending a haunting, historical tone to the property while still maintaining a bright, easy air. Despite the antiquated fortress named after the infamous pirate, the resort features modern amenities. A large outdoor pool, an indoor jetted tub, a sauna and a children's pool can all be found on the property. The resort offers conference spaces, a high speed Internet access center and a game room. Laundry facilities are located onsite and there is a convenience store on the property.

Two restaurants exist at the resort, the Banana Tree Grill featuring al fresco dinning, and Room With a View which serves American and West Indian cuisine.

Both restaurants have full bars. Other amenities include a health club and tennis courts.

All villas feature rattan furniture, ceramic tile floors, tropical fabrics and intriguing art. These spacious villas offer all of the comforts of home. Guests can enjoy the breath taking view from the private balconies or relax with cable television and a VCR. One bedroom units boast fully equipped kitchenettes including microwave ovens, refrigerators and ranges. A washer and dryer are also located within the one bedroom units.

Visitors should take a guided tour through the Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Refuge and Marine Sanctuary where egrets, pelicans, iguanas and barracudas all reside.
