Tamarack Resort is located 90 miles north of Boise in Donnelly, Idaho in the Frank Church Wilderness. The cottages, chalets, and homes of the resort are situated at the base of Tamarack Mountain within walking distance or a short shuttle ride to the Tamarack Ski Resort and the Osprey Meadows Golf Course. Lake Cascade, less than a one mile walk from the lodging neighborhoods, offers waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking and sailing, and has three designated bird sanctuaries on the nearby shoreline.

The Robert Trent Jones II Signature Golf Course, Osprey Meadows, slopes gently from the resort, and spreads against a backdrop of aspens, lakeshore and ponderosa pines.
Amenities in the village include complimentary shuttle service, onsite car rental, and a variety of spas and restaurants. Chair lift rides are available in the summer.
Tamarack's rental homes range in size from 1200 to 2700 square feet. Rentals feature rough hewn timbers, tamarack hardwood floors, and natural stone fireplaces. Guest bedrooms have high quality European bedding, and feature rustic mountain décor throughout. Select homes feature private hot tubs and enclosed garages or carports, and all homes are equipped with full kitchens. Chalets and cottages have mountain and valley views, and are situated on wooded lots.
At Lake Cascade guests can rent pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, Hobie Cats, and sailboats. There are also guided and instructional services for waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking and fishing. Bait, tackle, and even fishing licenses are available right at the lake.
