The Résidence H⌠teliΦre le Grand Balcon is housed in the Le Grand Balcon tourist complex set at the foot of Mont Blanc, 800 metres from the centre of Les Houches. The hotel consists of eight traditional, sunny wooden chalets style buildings decorated in Italian trompe l'oeil with 106 apartments, all of which open onto balconies and provide kitchenettes, and telephones, and televisions.

After a day on the slopes, guests can take a dip in the private indoor swimming pool with hydromassage tub opening onto a terrace, or relax with a steam bath in the sauna. Also at the reception chalet, there is a bar where guests can unwind with a drink, while those arriving by car have access to covered parking facilities. Alternatively, Shuttle buses operate from in front of the reception to Chamonix, around 4 kilometres away.

The nearest airport is Geneva, around 70 kilometres from the resort. Le Grand Balcon offers spacious and attractive accommodations, which include a bedroom, living area, private bathroom, balcony or terrace with sun loungers, television, telephone, and in room safe. Each unit has a kitchen area with two electric hobs, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. For a fee, a mid stay cleaning service is offered as well as linens and towels.

This property requires a six, seven, or eight night minimum stay with check in and check out on Saturday or Sunday only.

Small pets may stay for a fee of 24 Euros per week.
