The Hotel Imperiale is an impressive five floor hotel with a nineteenth century style faτade, located in downtown Rome on Via Vittorio Veneto; it is just 300 metres from both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. All 96 air conditioned rooms have wood floors, red and gold décor with wooden furniture, and are equipped with minibars, cable television and dial up Internet access. The hotel is approximately 35 kilometres or a forty minute drive from Rome Fiumicino Airport. There is an express train service every 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes). A single ticket costs around Ç10.
Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only.
