The Hotel Medicis, situated in the musician's quarter of Nice, 500 meters from shopping streets and the main railway station, is a traditional French town hotel built in 1926.

The 36 air conditioned and soundproofed guest rooms are decorated simply in warm colors with bright patterned fabrics, and furnished with polished oak wood furniture. Each room offers satellite television, a safe deposit box and a hairdryer, as well as a balcony in some rooms. Superior rooms also include a sofabed.

Although the Medicis has no restaurant, there are several in the surrounding area, including Bacchus restaurant next door, owned by the same proprietor. Breakfast is available, however, and is served in the breakfast room.
