Because virtually no pedestrians use the streets outside the hotel, guests can relax in peace on wrought iron benches flanked by potted plants. The top floor roof garden, where American buffet breakfasts are served, is another quiet haven. The roof garden's floor to ceiling windows provide views of terracotta tiled rooftops and a partial view of Italy's presidential residence, Palazzo dei Quirinale.
Hotel Trevi offers 46 air conditioned guestrooms and junior suites in two six storey buildings on opposite sides of a narrow street. Amenities include safes, dial up Internet connections, minibars, and satellite television. Rooms have high ceilings, yellow walls, blue carpets, matching fabrics, and dark wood furniture, including desks. Tiled bathrooms contain walk in showers. CittĪ± dell' Acqua, an archaeological site adjacent to the hotel, is an underground excavation of ancient Roman residences. A 2 EUR entrance fee (subject to change) permits a visitor to go on a self guided tour up and down metal stairs to see how Romans once lived. Amphorae, statute parts, and other artifacts found on the site are displayed.
