The Hotel Alessandrino is located in Rome, Italy, within two kilometres of St Peter's Square and the Vatican Museum, and three kilometres from Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona. Set on a hill in a residential neighbourhood, the Hotel Alessandrino offers peaceful lodgings outside Rome's busy city centre. There are two terraces, one on the roof and one set on a lower floor with tables and chairs. A drinks delivery service is available.
The hotel offers a buffet breakfast each morning, served in a bright dining room or, in summer, on the rooftop terrace, which offers views of the dome of St Peter's Basilica.
It can also be delivered to guestrooms (excluding annexe apartments).
The 25 guestrooms feature dark wood furnishings, beige and burgundy bedspreads and drapes, and hand painted floral trim on ceilings and doors. All include satellite television, Internet connections, minibars, safes, and tiled bathrooms with showers, heated towel racks, telephones and hair dryers. Apartments also have kitchens and separate living rooms. Those seeking more than a quick visit to St Peter's Basilica can attend the papal audience on Wednesday mornings, and receive the Pope's blessing on the audience. Tickets are available from the Basilica, on the right side of the church beyond the security checkpoint. A 10% tax is added at check out.
