The Penelope Beach Hotel is a whitewashed Tunisian style, All Inclusive resort on a private beach, five kilometres from the Crocodile Farm and the town of Midoun.

The hotel's 363 air conditioned guestrooms, spread across two floors, have modern Tunisian style interiors in soft tones. All offer balconies, satellite television, direct dial phones, safes and minibars. The All Inclusive room rate incorporates buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with table wine, water and soft drinks included, late continental breakfast, snacks from 10 AM to noon and from 9 PM to midnight, afternoon coffee and cakes, and drinks at the bars from 10 AM to midnight including local spirits, beer, non alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Children have their own splash pool, and can participate in the hotel's entertainment programme. A pristine white beach, reserved exclusively for hotel guests, is just metres away and is shaded by thatched parasols. The hotel offers a variety of entertainment including a kids' playground, petanque and miniature golf. Guests can also make use of tennis and volleyball courts, and various water sports are on offer at the beach. The nearest golf course is two kilometres away. The hotel is well placed for exploring the surrounding area; tourists can visit the casino, two kilometres away; the Djerba Museum, five kilometres away, and Tunisia's capital, Houmt Souk, 16 kilometres away.
