On a cliff overlooking the Andaman Sea, the Blue Marine Resort and Spa is located in Kathu, Phuket, Thailand. The resort is within one kilometer of Patong Beach and Kalim Beach. Phuket Town is 15 kilometers away. Set among the tropical forests of Kathu, the resort takes advantage of its proximity to nature.

The Deep Andaman restaurant offers terrace dining, fresh seafood daily and views of the sea.

The Blue Pacific Coffee Shop and By the C CafΘ offer additional dining options. Two outdoor pools feature infinity edges and sea views. The on site Submarine Spa offers Thai massages, facial treatments and manicures. A fitness center with free weights and cardiovascular equipment is available.

The resort features 77 guestrooms decorated with soft colors, polished cement walls and traditional Thai furnishings.

Each guestroom features a private balcony with a view of the sea. Bathrooms have modern bowl sinks and a separate shower and bathtub. Refrigerators are included in each room. Kalim Beach, one kilometer from the resort, is known for its extensive coral reefs. When the tide is low, the coral reefs can be explored on foot, revealing crustaceans and small fish. Gala Dinner: The hotel hosts a gala dinner on December 31, 2007. Guests are charged for the dinner regardless of whether they attend. Fees for the dinner are collected by the hotel at check in. Renovation Notice: The hotel is scheduled to undergo a major expansion project beginning October 5, 2007. During peak season, from December 20, 2007, through January 10, 2008, the hotel will halt all construction. Work will resume January 11. All hotel services will remain available to guests. Work will be done daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The estimated completion date for all work is November 15, 2008. These dates are subject to change.
