The modern two floor Dubai International Hotel is situated on the Sheikh Rashid Terminal of Dubai International Airport, around six kilometres from the attractions of Dubai city centre.

Dubai International Hotel has 88 air conditioned guestrooms located on two floors, all of which have modern décor in soft, warm tones. Amenities include cable television, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, safes, and high speed Internet connections. Bathrooms provide bathrobes and slippers.

The Dubai International Hotel's Safar Restaurant seats 350 and serves Asian, Arabian and Chinese cuisine, and diners can watch the chefs at work in the display kitchen. The Irish Village serves Irish fare and ales in a traditional pub setting, which is open 24-hours a day. Wings Bar is also open round the clock, and serves coffees, pastries, drinks and snacks.

Local buses run from the Deira bus station, near the Gold Souq, and the Bur Dubai station on Al-Ghubaiba Road. Abras (small motorboats) cross Dubai Creek from early morning until around midnight.
