asp.net.ph

Welcome to asp.net.ph, a workshop on developing Active Server Pages in the .NET Framework.

asp.net.ph is, essentially, a collection of how-to’s and working code examples meant to introduce simple yet innovative ways to create dynamic Web applications in the .NET platform.

asp.net.ph itself is a sample Web application built entirely with ASP.NET.

Getting Started

Condensed overviews meant to familiarize developers with the basics of ASP.NET.

Data Access / ADO.NET

Describes how to retrieve and update information stored in databases using ADO.NET.

ASP.NET Applications

Outlines the configuration, optimization, deployment, localization, and security considerations of ASP.NET Web applications.

Back to Basics

All about the basics, or the ABC’s of Web design and development.

Show Me

This section provides quick links to the demos available in the workshop.

Throughout this workshop, we shall be posting references to real-world examples developed wholly using ASP.NET components. In later sections, we shall take a closer look at how each of these examples are done.

asp.net.ph as a whole has been meant for one purpose: to be able to impart enough insight to help the aspiring Web developer start building Web applications that, not only integrate usability and appeal, but perform better as well.

asp.net.ph shall continually be updated as new methods and technologies evolve, so do pass by once in a while to avail of any recent modifications.
