System.Web.UI.WebControls Namespace Menu Class
.NET Framework version 2.0
Occurs when a menu item in a Menu control is clicked.
[ VB ]
Public Event MenuItemClick As MenuEventHandler
[ C# ]
public event MenuEventHandler MenuItemClick;
[ C++ ]
public: __event MenuEventHandler* MenuItemClick;
In [ JScript ], you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
The MenuItemClick event is raised whenever a menu item is clicked in a Menu control.
This allows you to provide an event handler that performs a custom routine, such as synchronizing with another control on the page, whenever this event occurs.
For more information about handling events, see Web Forms Events Model.
The method assigned to handle the event is passed an argument of type MenuEventArgs object containing data related to this event. The following MenuEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.
The following example shows how to specify and code a handler for the MenuItemClick event of a Menu control.
