Sets or retrieves the style properties for the selected node in a TreeView control.

Script	TreeView.SelectedNodeStyle.Property [ = enumValue ]

A TreeNodeStyle object that defines the style properties for the selected node in a TreeView.

Use the SelectedNodeStyle property to specify the appearance of the selected node in a TreeView control. Common style attributes that can be set include forecolor, backcolor, font, and content alignment within the tree. Providing different node styles enhances the appearance of the TreeView control.

The SelectedNodeStyle subproperties can be set declaratively using either of the following methods:

• Include an attribute in the opening tag of the TreeView control in the form SelectedNodeStyle-Property

  <asp:treeview ... 
     selectednodestyle-property=value
     ... >
  
  </asp:treeview>

• Include a <SelectedNodeStyle> element between the opening and closing tags of the TreeView control

  <asp:treeview ... >
  
     <selectednodestyle
        ... property definitions here />
  
  </asp:treeview>

The subproperties can also be set programmatically in the form SelectedNodeStyle.Property.

Style properties are applied in the following order of precedence:

• NodeStyle
• RootNodeStyle, ParentNodeStyle, or LeafNodeStyle, depending on the node type. If the LevelStyles collection is defined, it is applied at this time, overriding the other node style properties.
• SelectedNodeStyle
• HoverNodeStyle
