SqlInfoMessageEventHandler Delegate

System.Data.SqlClient Namespace

Represents the method that will handle the InfoMessage event of an SqlConnection.

[ VB ]
Public Delegate Sub SqlInfoMessageEventHandler ( _
   ByVal sender As Object, _
   ByVal e As SqlInfoMessageEventArgs _
)

[ C# ]
public delegate void SqlInfoMessageEventHandler (
   object sender,
   SqlInfoMessageEventArgs e
);

[ C++ ]
public __gc __delegate void SqlInfoMessageEventHandler (
   Object* sender,
   SqlInfoMessageEventArgs* e
);

In [ JScript ], you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.

Parameters

The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the SqlInfoMessageEventHandler delegate declaration.

sender
The source of the event.
e
An SqlInfoMessageEventArgs object that contains the event data.

Remarks

When you create an SqlInfoMessageEventArgs delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate.

For more information about event handler delegates, see Web Forms Events and Handlers.
