Exception Type Condition
ArgumentNullException The property is being set to a null reference ( Nothing in Visual Basic ).
ArgumentException The property is being set to a value that is the same as NumberDecimalSeparator, CurrencyDecimalSeparator, or PercentDecimalSeparator.
InvalidOperationException The property is being set and the NumberFormatInfo is read-only.

Remarks

If any of the group separators ( NumberGroupSeparator, CurrencyGroupSeparator, or PercentGroupSeparator ) is the same as any of the decimal separators ( NumberDecimalSeparator, CurrencyDecimalSeparator, or PercentDecimalSeparator ), parsing ambiguous strings produces unpredictable results.
