SiteMapPath.CurrentNodeTemplate Property

System.Web.UI.WebControls Namespace   SiteMapPath Class

.NET Framework version 2.0

Specifies the template to use for the current node in a SiteMapPath control.

Syntax

<asp:sitemappath ... >

   <currentnodetemplate>
      ... template definition here
   </currentnodetemplate>

</asp:sitemappath>

Property Value

An ITemplate interface that defines how the current node in a SiteMapPath control is rendered.

The property is read/write with no default value.

Remarks

The CurrentNodeTemplate functions in the same way as the NodeTemplate, but is rendered only for the current node in a SiteMapPath control.

To specify a template for the current node in a SiteMapPath control, declare a <CurrentNodeTemplate> element between the opening and closing tags of the control. You can then list the contents of the template between the opening and closing <CurrentNodeTemplate> ... </CurrentNodeTemplate> tags.

In the CurrentNodeTemplate, declare the appropriate server control, such as an Image or HyperLink control, that you intend to use.
