Sets or retrieves the style properties for the row currently being inserted in a FormView control.

Script	FormView.InsertRowStyle.Property [ = enumValue ]

A TableItemStyle object that defines the style properties for the row currently in insert mode in a FormView.

Use this property to provide a custom style for the row currently in insert mode in a FormView control. Common style attributes that can be set include forecolor, backcolor, font, and content alignment within the cell. Providing different row styles enhances the appearance of the FormView control.

The InsertRowStyle subproperties can be set declaratively using either of the following methods:

• Include an attribute in the opening tag of the FormView control in the form InsertRowStyle-Property

  <asp:formview ... 
     insertrowstyle-property=value
     ... >
  
  </asp:formview>

• Include a <InsertRowStyle> element between the opening and closing tags of the FormView control

  <asp:formview ... >
  
     <insertrowstyle
        ... property definitions here />
  
  </asp:formview>

The subproperties can also be set programmatically in the form InsertRowStyle.Property.
