System.Web.UI.WebControls Namespace
Represents the method that will handle the command events of a DataList.
[ VB ]
Public Delegate Sub DataListCommandEventHandler ( _
ByVal src As Object, _
ByVal e As DataListCommandEventArgs _
)
[ C# ]
public delegate void DataListCommandEventHandler (
object src,
DataListCommandEventArgs e
);
[ C++ ]
public __gc __delegate void DataListCommandEventHandler (
Object* src,
DataListCommandEventArgs* e
);
In [ JScript ], you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.
The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the declaration for the DataListCommandEventHandler delegate.
- src
- The source of the event.
- e
- A DataListCommandEventArgs object that contains the event data.
When you create a DataListCommandEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate.
The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the ItemCommand event to display additional information about the currently selected item in the DataList.
