DayRenderEventHandler Delegate

System.Web.UI.WebControls Namespace

Represents the method that will handle the DayRender event of a Calendar control.

[ VB ]
Public Delegate Sub DayRenderEventHandler ( _
   ByVal src As Object, _
   ByVal e As DayRenderEventArgs _
)

[ C# ]
public delegate void DayRenderEventHandler (
   object src,
   DayRenderEventArgs e
);

[ C++ ]
public __gc __delegate void DayRenderEventHandler (
   Object* src,
   DayRenderEventArgs* e
);

In [ JScript ], you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.

Parameters

The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the declaration for the DayRenderEventHandler delegate.

src
The source of the event.
e
A DayRenderEventArgs object that contains the event data.

Remarks

The DayRender event is raised whenever a date cell is rendered on a Calendar control.

When you create an DayRenderEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate.

For more information about handling events, see Web Forms Events Model.

Example

The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the DayRender event, to set the background color for the days in the displayed month of a Calendar control.
