System.Web.UI.WebControls Namespace
.NET Framework version 2.0
Represents the method that will handle the ItemInserting event of a DetailsView control.
[ VB ]
Public Delegate Sub DetailsViewInsertEventHandler ( _
ByVal src As Object, _
ByVal e As DetailsViewInsertEventArgs _
)
[ C# ]
public delegate void DetailsViewInsertEventHandler (
object src,
DetailsViewInsertEventArgs e
);
[ C++ ]
public __gc __delegate void DetailsViewInsertEventHandler (
Object* src,
DetailsViewInsertEventArgs* e
);
In [ JScript ], you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.
The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the declaration for the DetailsViewInsertEventHandler delegate.
- src
- The source of the event.
- e
- A DetailsViewInsertEventArgs object that contains the event data.
When you create a DetailsViewInsertEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate.
