DHTML Events
Fires on the source element when the object or selection is removed from the document and added to the clipboard.

After selecting text:
- Right-click to display the shortcut menu and select Cut.
- Or press CTRL + X.

| Default action |
Removes the selection from the document and persists it in the clipboard. |
Use the setData method to specify a data format for the selection.
While event handlers in the Document Object Model do not receive parameters directly, the handler can query the event object for data.
